Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is designed to help low-income families meet the higher winter heating costs.  LIHEAP is not intended to pay a household’s total energy costs, but to provide assistance in the payment of residential heating costs for eligible households.

APPLICATION

Applications are accepted on a first-come/first-served basis

from November 1—April 15.

Call your County Center for information before you go.

Households with an elderly or disabled person may apply beginning

October 1.
